Together with R&D laboratories of GF Agie Charmilles, Thermocompact have designed a new ultra high precision coated wire.
Thermo SA wire allows to achieve surface conditions of Ra 0.05 µm, and to make productivity gains. Its machining speed is 10% higher than Cobra Cut A.
This wire allows great machining accuracy, specifically required when geometry and parallelism tolerances are restrictive. It also allows major savings on production costs.
The latest studies comparing Thermo SA and Cobra Cut A costs show a 20% fall in production costs.
